Dr. Sunay Patel completed his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at the University of Illinois in Chicago. He went on to obtain his master’s degree in Anatomical Sciences then completed his medical training in Tennessee at Lincoln Memorial University where he graduated with Honors. Following his medical degree, he pursued his residency in Neurology at Texas A&M University School of Medicine/Baylor Scott & White Medical Center where he was named chief resident. He then continued his training to further subspecialize in Pain Medicine at the prestigious University of Washington in Seattle, WA. Throughout his training he learned to not only to use interventional techniques, but also to practice comprehensive pain management to treat pain. He strongly believes in utilizing a multimodal approach to help patients improve their functionality and quality of life.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Patel enjoys being outdoors, traveling, spending time with family and friends and learning how to race on the track!
