Dr. Lam is a board-eligible physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Comprehensive Pain Medicine, with a strong focus on interventional pain management. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 2025, where he served as Academic Chief Resident. He then pursued fellowship training in Pain Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, completing his subspecialty training in 2026.
Dr. Lam provides personalized care for patients with a wide range of painful conditions, including spine disorders, joint pain, neuropathic pain, musculoskeletal injuries, and cancer-related pain. His interventional expertise includes fluoroscopy- and ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, kyphoplasty, spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation, intrathecal pain pump implantation, the Minimally Invasive Lumbar
Decompression (MILD) procedure, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) joint injections, and Botox injections for the treatment of migraine.
Originally from Vietnam, Dr. Lam immigrated to the United States to pursue his medical career. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Mercer University in 2016, followed by his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine – Georgia Campus in 2021. He completed his intern year in Internal Medicine at the Mercer University School of Medicine/Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center in Macon, Georgia, in 2022 before entering residency training.
As an undergraduate at Mercer University, Dr. Lam volunteered through Mercer on Mission – Vietnam, where he helped fit thousands of prosthetic limbs for amputees and provided care to underserved patients with orthopedic and pain conditions. These experiences not only deepened his commitment to restoring function but also shaped his compassionate, patient-centered approach to pain care.
Dr. Lam is passionate about helping patients regain mobility, independence, and quality of
life through individualized treatment plans that integrate rehabilitation, evidence-based therapies, and advanced interventional procedures. He is fluent in both English and Vietnamese and is dedicated to providing culturally sensitive, compassionate care to patients from all backgrounds.
