Dr. Adrian Birladeanu is double board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Interventional Pain Medicine. He grew up in northern California and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University- Sacramento. He earned his medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine in 2002. Dr. Birladeanu completed residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Universtiy of South Florida (USF) in Tampa Florida in 2008. Following residency, he completed a Neurology pain management fellowship and an additional year in an ACGME accredited Anesthesiology Pain Medicine fellowship at USF in 2008.
As a pain specialist, Dr. Birladeanu believes that the most effective method of improving chronic pain and function is through conservative and interventional procedures. The treatment goals are to minimize dependence of opioids (“less is more”), improve quality of life and improve function so that patients may return to their normal daily lives.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and target shooting.
