Dr. Weinstein is a double board-certified physician in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Pain Medicine. He grew up in Augusta, GA and completed his undergraduate education at the University of Georgia in Athens, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Dr. Weinstein went on to attend the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine – Georgia Campus in Suwanee, where he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. Subsequently, Dr. Weinstein moved to Tampa, FL where he completed his residency training in PM&R at the University of South Florida (USF) and served as Chief Resident. He then completed his Pain Management fellowship at USF. Throughout Dr. Weinstein’s training, he became proficient in a wide variety of modalities, both conservative and interventional, to both treat pain and improve function. He strongly believes in utilizing a multimodal, holistic approach with patients to effectively manage their pain and ultimately improve their quality of life. His goals are to use safe, evidence-based modalities to not only help reduce pain but also restore function, so his patients are able to do the things that they enjoy.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Weinstein enjoys Georgia football (Go Dawgs!), traveling, playing golf and pickleball, and spending time with friends and family.
