Summit Spine & Joint Centers is thrilled to announce the addition of two new physicians to our interventional pain management clinic staff: Dr. Thomas Cheriyan and Dr. Adam Gover. Each of these providers brings comprehensive experience to our practice and our patients, helping us deliver the best quality in pain management care.

Meet Dr. Cheriyan
As an Anesthesiologist, Dr. Thomas Cheriyan also trained as an Interventional Pain Management Physician. He’s not only dedicated to continuing education, but to creating personalized treatment plans to help each patient minimize their pain and maximize their mobility. Experienced in all chronic pain conditions, Dr. Cheriyan helps treat back pain, headaches, osteoarthritis and complex pain syndromes. He also maintains a keen focus on neuromodulation therapies such as spinal cord stimulators and intrathecal pain pumps.
After graduating from medical school in India, Dr. Cheriyan specialized in tissue engineering and medical device design at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston. He brings extensive experience in stem cell research for bone and cartilage regeneration. When he’s not working, you can find Dr. Cheriyan traveling, hiking or playing soccer, guitar and chess.
Meet Dr. Gover
Also an Interventional Pain Management Physician and Anesthesiologist, Dr. Adam Gover is a Texas native who completed medical school at the University of Texas and his residency in Anesthesiology at New York University. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Pain Management at Emory University, learning comprehensive pain management techniques with minimally invasive procedures.
Dr. Gover is dedicated to helping patients who live with chronic pain to improve their discomfort and be able to do what they love. Specializing in radiofrequency ablation, epidural steroid injections and neuromodulation, Dr. Gover is focused on improving quality of life while reducing dependence on opioids and invasive, unnecessary surgery. When he’s not helping his patients, you can find Dr. Gover hiking, working out and traveling.
