
Carletta is a board- certified Advanced Practice Registered nurse with a Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice. As a family nurse practitioner, she is devoted to education and raising awareness regarding preventive measures for a healthy lifestyle. She has a strong passion for patient-centered care. This allows the patient to take an active role in their healthcare choices and outcomes. Professionally, Carletta has always strived for excellence, she attended Molloy College where she obtained both her bachelor’s in nursing in 1997 and her master’s in nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2012, graduating with honors at the top of her class.
After working as an advanced practice nurse in Perioperative services at South Nassau Communities Hospital, Oceanside NY for many years, treating patients with orthopedic degenerative joint conditions and chronic pain disorders.
Her passion for being a mentor to the next generation of nurses, led her to begin teaching as an adjunct clinical nursing professor at Georgia College & State University.
To promote positive change in the medical community, Carletta obtained a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Georgia College & State University graduated in May 2020. Carletta is a member of the United Advanced Practice of Registered Nurse of Georgia and American Association of Nurse Practitioner, an active community that supports the role of the nurse practitioner and advocates for patients.
Carletta considers herself blessed to have the opportunity to become a leading impact for change in her local community. She is looking forward to building lasting relationships with her patients and encouraging them to become involved in their care.
